Nestled in the heart of downtown Charlotte, you'll find the city's newest high-rise hotel full of glamorous design and relentless charm. The stay is just up the road from the Carolina Panthers Stadium, the Nascar Hall of Fame and is surrounded by an endless array restaurants, outdoor scenery, and rooftop experiences. Let's step inside the artful, Grand Bohemian Hotel.
Through the gold revolving doors, you'll be greeted with hand-cut venetian glass walls, glass chandeliers, and marble floors - all of which begin to set the scene for what's to come. For you coffee connoisseur's like me, you'll find a Starbucks onsite right next to the stunning lobby. Next, let's check out the King room:

Just when you thought the mesmerizing features stopped at the lobby, guess again! The unique character and charm carries itself into each room; I stayed in the king suite where you're immediately greeted under a pink and green chandelier when walking into the room.
The first space you'll see when entering the room is a gorgeous, all marble, glass, and brass accented bathroom. The Argentinian design inspired by classical works of art truly lends itself to the effortless blend of comfort and culture when you step into the king bedroom space. You'll be surrounded by elegant pops of color from the oversized, upholstered headboard to the velvet chaise lounge chair.
Now, let's checkout the amenities of the stay!

The Grand Bohemian Hotel is accompanied by two on-site restaurants, one on the first floor by the grand entrance and the second being a rooftop bar with endless views. In the first image you will see Búho Bar which is an open-air lounge on the 16th floor of the hotel serving tasty cocktails and bites with one-of-a-kind urban, skyline views. The second image is in the lounge space of Mico Restaurant, a culinary exploration, which twists Argentinian classics with exotic flavors. I highly recommend the baked carolina dream oysters and blistered shishito peppers as an appetizer. classics
Leave any of your expectations at the door, because as you will see this hotel continues to amaze in each and every aspect. The 16th floor gym over looking the city to the Bohemian Garden greenery and 6th floor skyline views, there's nothing that this stay doesn't have. I enjoyed coffee by morning in the Bohemian Garden space and watched the sunset by night among the two rooftop spaces. I now see why it deserved the name of "Queen City".
In addition to the hotels two, on-site, dining experiences allow me to share a few more of my favorite experiences I tried out while in the city. Head to this LINK and you'll be able to see all experiences easily mapped out for you, to make it easy during your stay! But, let's not waste any time and get right on into it.

Brunch/Lunch:
In the heart of Charlotte you'll find this Baja vibe, open air concept, SoCal dining experience. It is located in The Music Yard where they'll host yoga, DJ's, comedians, and live bands throughout the week. If you love yourself some tasty Mexican street food and a fun vibe, then you definitely will want to check out this spot!

Trey and I had so much fun exploring the city and may have lost track of time, where brunch and dinner basically collided. But, that's not a problem when Tupelo Honey Cafe serves brunch ALL DAY. So whether it's for brunch, or a late night treat in our case, you'll find some of the most delicious southern rooted foods. They specialize in everything from sweet potato pancakes to very berry french toast and mimosas (I couldn't help myself). I have to admit, it was the perfect end to a night in the city.
Dinner:

A girl can never go wrong with some wood-fired pizza and Prosecco, am I right? Just less than two blocks from the entrance of the Grand Bohemian Hotel where we stayed was Angeline's, an uptown stylish spot with contemporary takes on Italian cuisine. For dinner I had the Funghi Pizza and the Rossini cocktail, a raspberry and Prosseco blend. And, when you visit, make sure you don't skip the most important part of the meal...dessert (at least to me, lol)! We just had to get two; when it comes to dessert, it's challenging for me to share. What you're seeing are the house made tiramisu and zeppole with pistachio gelato.
Guess where I'm off to next! Jetting off, and I'll see you back here soon!
XO,
Hanna Rose
